In ‘50 Shades to Fiddle’ worden tijdloze vioolthema’s op briljante wijze vertolkt en wordt het verleidelijke verhaal vertelt van de violist en zijn muze: de viool. In de voorstelling komen passie en virtuositeit samen met het vuur van de zigeunerviool, het verlangen en de weemoed van chansonniers als Brel en Aznavour en de filmmuziek van Morricone.
De zeer veelzijdige violist Micha Molthoff trad op met een keur aan nationale en internationale artiesten waaronder Ute Lemper en Herman van Veen en speelde op concertpodia over de hele wereld.
In de afgelopen twintig jaar componeerde Micha de muziek voor een groot aantal documentaire- en speelfilms, theaterproducties en dansvoorstellingen. Micha’s muziek wordt beïnvloed door onder andere Oost-Europese muziek, Argentijnse tango en Frans-, Spaans- en Nederlandstalige chansons en liedjes.

'50 Shades to Fiddle' brilliantly interprets timeless violin themes and tells the enticing story of the violinist and his muse: the violin. During the show, passion and virtuosity are brought together by the fiery play of the gypsy violin, the longing and wistfulness in the songs of chansonniers like Brel and Aznavour and Morricone’s film music.
The highly versatile violinist Micha Molthoff has performed with a host of national and international artists, including Ute Lemper and Herman van Veen, and has played on concert stages all over the world.
The past twenty years, Micha has composed the music for a large number of documentaries, movies, theater productions, and dance shows. You hear influences of, among others, Eastern European music, the Argentine tango, French chansons, and Spanish and Dutch songs in Micha’s music.
