Tender Prey

In 2023 is het tien jaar geleden dat het album ‘Push The Sky Away’ uitkwam. Reden voor Tender Prey om dat te vieren met een ruime variatie aan songs van de tour die Nick Cave met zijn Bad Seeds deed ten tijde dat dit album uitkwam.

Theatraal en vol overgave brengt deze band een twee uur durende show naar het podium.
Denk aan songs als ‘Higgs Boson Blues’, ‘Mercy Seat’, ‘Ship Song’, ‘Mermaids’, ‘The Good Son’, ‘Jubilee Street’ en ‘Push The Sky Away’.

Wie de naam Nick Cave hoort, denkt aan de band The Bad Seeds, aan de Netflix hitserie ‘Peaky Blinders’ met zijn introsong ‘Red Right Hand’ of aan songs als ‘Into My Arms’. En, misschien met gemengde gevoelens, ook aan Kylie Minogue en hun hit samen ‘Where The Wild Roses Grow’. De gast die een bijna ongenaakbaar leven leidde rond sex, drugs en rock 'n' roll kennen we tegenwoordig als een sympathieke en innemende man waar je geen genoeg van kunt krijgen. 2023 marks the tenth anniversary of the 'Push The Sky Away’ album’s release'. Reason for a Tender Prey celebration with a wide variety of songs from the tour Nick Cave and his band Bad Seeds did when the album was released.

This band brings a two-hour show to the stage in a theatrical way and with a lot of devotion.

Anyone who hears the name Nick Cave thinks of The Bad Seeds, of ‘Red Right Hand’, the intro song of Netflix hit series ‘Peaky Binders’, or of songs like 'Into My Arms'. And, maybe also of Kylie Minogue and their joint hit 'Where The Wild Roses Grow’, albeit with mixed feelings'. Today, we know the almost unapproachable guy who led a life of sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll as a likable and engaging man, and you just cannot get enough of his music.
