Tijdens hun vorige show lieten The Bentleys zien en horen hoe de rock-‘n-roll van Amerika naar Engeland reisde, en terug. Maar waar waren eigenlijk de meisjes in dat verhaal? In de nieuwe muziekvoorstelling brengen The Bentleys een ode aan the Ladies of the 50’s & 60’s met swingende dansnummers, maar ook met liefde en romantiek.
Bijgestaan door The Bendellas, drie fantastisch dansende zangeressen, laten zij zien dat de opkomende jeugdcultuur ook veel betekende voor de rol van meisjes en vrouwen. Zoals The Raelettes die Ray Charles de deur wijzen, Tina Turner die een megahit scoort zonder Ike en Nancy Sinatra die de benen neemt met haar lange laarzen.

During the last show of The Bentleys, the audience got to hear and see how rock ‘n’ roll travelled from America to England and back. But where were the girls in that story? In their new music show, The Bentleys pay tribute to The Ladies of the 50s & 60s with swinging dance numbers, but also with love and romance.
Assisted by The Bendellas, three fantastic dancing singers, they show that the emerging youth culture also meant a great deal to girls and women. Like when The Raelettes showed Ray Charles the door, when Tina Turner scored a mega hit without Ike and when Nancy Sinatra took off in her high boots.
