Van donderdag 30 maart tot en met zaterdag 8 april 2023 zal het allereerste Wonka Comedy Festival plaatsvinden. Met lachen als ultieme verbindende factor voor alle inwoners van deze regio en daarbuiten. Dit festival is het resultaat van de succesvolle samenwerking tussen de zes Wonka Podia.
Het feestelijke 10 dagen durende comedyfestival zit bomvol regionale, nationale en internationale comedy-acts in alle Wonka Podia. Organisatiegoeroes uit de comedywereld en programmeurs van de betrokken podia hebben de handen ineengeslagen voor een kwalitatief hoogstaand en gevarieerd aanbod, waarbij voor ieder wat wils te vinden is. Er zijn daarnaast nieuwe concepten ontwikkeld en één productie wordt zelfs speciaal voor het festival hernomen. Wij zijn er samen met de andere podia trots op, dat we dit Comedy Festival kunnen presenteren aan de (Brainport)regio.
Wij kijken ernaar uit om comedyliefhebbers én ontdekkers van het genre te verwelkomen in hun huizen. Jong, oud, met welke nationaliteit of achtergrond dan ook.

From Thursday 30 March to Saturday 8 April 2023, the very first Wonka Comedy Festival will take place. With laughter as the ultimate connecting factor for all inhabitants of this region and beyond. This festival is the result of the successful collaboration between the six Wonka Podia.
The festive 10-day comedy festival is packed with regional, national and international comedy acts across all Wonka stages. Organising gurus from the comedy world and programmers from the venues involved have joined forces to create a high-quality and varied offering, with something for everyone. In addition, new concepts have been developed and one production is even being rerun especially for the festival. The venues are proud to present this Comedy Festival to the (Brainport) region.
We look forward to welcoming comedy lovers and discoverers of the genre to their houses. Young, old, of any nationality or background.
